Max Oxtermann - neuromuscular therapist
In 1961 Max Ostermann started to practise manual therapy and was soon known as the 'muscle man'. From 1967 Max became a conditioner and trainer to many different sporting clubs including rugby league and union, soccer, hockey, basketball, swimming and athletics. Max then commenced studies at college in naturopathy, herbal medicine, biochemistry and remedial therapy. This led to Max establishing his own practice, which has been running successfully for the past 20 years. After 40 years of experience in sports muscle manipulation Max was still not completely satisfied with commercial heat rubs and decided to formulate his own. Between research and trials it took eight months for Ostermann Heat Rub to be perfected. Max has been using the heat rub in his own practice for several years with great success.
